Dawn Flood, DVM
Dr. Flood is an NCSU-CVM graduate. She started out doing mixed practice in 1995. She developed an interest in shelter medicine in 2000, and decided to pursue a career in doing low cost spay and neuter for the p
ublic. She founded Carolina Mobile Spay-Neuter Clinic, P.A. in 2002. She has done well over 50,000 spay and neuter surgeries during her 14 year career.
In her spare time Dr. Flood trains German Shepherds for Schutzhund.

Dr. Flood lives in Angier with her husband Thomas, and his son Cody. They currently have 4 german shepherds, a blue heeler, a jack russell terrier, 2 cats and 1 horse. She is pictured here with Odyn Vom Mystical Haus. He recently obtained his BH, OB1, TK1 and ScHh1 Title and is working towards his ScH2.
Aubrey Brown, DVM
Dr. Brown graduated from NCSU-CVM after completing her Bachelor's at Colorado State. She works with Carolina Crossing Veterinary Clinic as a part-time associate several days per week. Dr. Brown also has her own equine practice, www.riveroakequine.com, offering mobile veterinary services specifically for horses. Joyce (Client Services)
Joyce lives just around the corner where she cares for a terrific family, horses and more. Joyce is a very busy person and we cannot seem to sit her down long enough to get this "blurb" completed!
Sonja (Client Services)
Sonja was born in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fl but has lived in North Carolina since 1990. She has always loved working around animals and worked at the SPCA in Garner for 12 years where
Dr. Flood served as a staff veterinarian for several years. Sonja took a few years break and started working with Dr. Flood at her mobile spay/ neuter clinic. She now enjoys working at the new facility at the front desk and in the back when needed. She currently has 2 spoiled rotten Pit Bulls that live indoors ( Charolotte and Junior ) and 3 horses. ( Buddy, Lacy, and Ginger ) Her daughter barrel races on Ginger. Her new passion is her 2 baby ducks ( Daffodil and Daisy Mae ) She just got them and is having a blast raising them. Besides working at the clinic, Sonja has a home business which provides low cost health benefits to people who do not have insurance. Susan (Veterinary Assistant)
Susan has lived in Smithfield all her life and that is where she raises her family, which includes 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 husband, 5 dogs and 1 cat. She brings with her 16 years of experience working as veterinary assistant. Many of you will remember Susan from Bitterroot Animal Hospital in Smithfield, which closed the end of 2008. We are so glad to have Susan with us!
Cat (Veterinary Assistant)
Cat is the mother of two daughters (1 in college and 1 in middle school) and a variety of cats, dogs and fish. She has
lived in Johnston County since 1999 and has been working with animals even longer. Cat started out working with animal control in SC. Once she moved to NC she sought work in the veterinary field. Cat thoroughly enjoys working wit

The German Shepherd, Bellatrix, is
up for adoption. Please ask Cat for more details. She is spayed, on heartworm and flea control, and current on vaccinations. She has a microchip that must be registered. Cat also has two kittens, male and female, who were born 9/09. These kittens were left in a dumpster. They are flea-free, completely up to date with vaccines and already fixed.
