As of September 2010 cost of cat spay (female) voucher is $65.  If your cat is current on feline distemper and rabies vaccines this is a good price; otherwise there will be a $30 charge for vaccines. If your cat needs these vaccines our cost is $90 which includes spay and vaccines.  You will save $5 by NOT getting the voucher.  Please do the research as it may save you money!)

SPCA of Wake County - spay/neuter discount vouchers available for purchase online - income limit of $50,000 with other discount program for households exceeding $50,000 (Vouchers do NOT include vaccines which can be administered for a reasonable fee*.  Discount Program -discount (20%) is taken off the price of surgery ONLY.  Vaccines are NOT included with the surgery or offered at a 20% discount.  Please ask for the price* of any vaccines at the time surgery is scheduled.)

Operation Catnip - spay/neuter discount vouchers for feral cats only at a cost of $50 each. (Operation Catnip provides us with their vaccines* which we will administer at no additional cost.)

*The cost of Feline or Canine Distemper vaccine is $20 each and Rabies (1 year or 3 year) vaccine is $10 when NOT included with a voucher.  Distemper and Rabies are REQUIRED with any vouchers/discount programs.  If live fleas are found on your pet, treatment is REQUIRED at the owner's expense.
